change of plans.
He won’t be here for when we find out the gender, and he will POSSIBLY be here for the birth. He’s TDYing to Thailand and New Zealand soon (obviously can’t give out exactly when). Loving the unknowns of the AF right now. And not gonna lie, kinda jealous that he gets to go and I can’t, haha. But if I did have a choice, I’d much rather him be here for the birth....

I’ve gotten an exact even amount of guesses on what sex the baby is. I go back and forth a lot, but lately I’m feeling like we’ve got a little boy. I’ve always wanted my first born to be a girl but I’d be happy with either sex…all that matters is if he or she is healthy. Today I discovered the brilliance of yoga pants.

The awkward moment when
you announce your pregnancy on Facebook and someone posts a status shortly after saying,
“Really glad I didn’t jump on the “Get someone pregnant as soon as possible train..” Can’t really understand why anyone would want to have kids under the age of 30-35.”

The New Year.
We hosted a very small gathering at our place last night that consisted of two other couples, and three children. We had our Xbox Kinect set up in one room, and Rock Band in the other. There were some drinks, but I just happily helped myself to sparkling cider. I loved being able to kiss Jimmy at midnight, since this time last year he was in BMT and I spent the holidays with his family....

California bound for Christmas.
Jimmy’s parents surprised us with plane tickets home for Christmas. His sister is getting married early in January and since we can’t make it to her destination wedding in Australia, the family wanted to surprise his sis by flying us home for a few days. I am going to beg my husband and my in-laws for us to go to every restaurant that I’ve missed, and hopefully sneak in a Disney...
