The awkward moment when

you announce your pregnancy on Facebook and someone posts a status shortly after saying,

“Really glad I didn’t jump on the “Get someone pregnant as soon as possible train..” Can’t really understand why anyone would want to have kids under the age of 30-35.”

To which a LOT of angry mothers replied to. I knew not to take it personal and I stayed silent, but if Jimmy hadn’t ate the last of the popcorn, I would have heated some up, sat back, and watched the drama unfold. It was kind of awesome.

  2. black-candy said: That’s incredibly rube and immature, but what can ya do? Some people don’t care. Anyway. Congratulations!!!
  3. lindsayitaintso said: Sounds kinda like she’s jealous. Maybe not necessarily jealous of having kids but of the happiness it brings. I’m glad you didn’t let it get to you. ;)
  4. windowblues said: ugh people have no tact! in any case, congratulations, i’m so excited for you!! this kid is gonna be lucky to have the coolest parents around :)

  6. arborescent said: That’s the age I’d like to get pregnant at. But everyone has their own opinions and no one has any right to judge you for getting pregnant in a very stable happy relationship. You’ve been married for like 4 years!! Age is just a number. :)
